- Flash animation (swf) preferably should not exceed: 300KB (the
smaller the better).

- In design of all the inner and outer web pages of the website.
4- Visual design solution/Aesthetics (20%)
- Proper application of design principles:
Harmony, balance, color scheme, contrast.
- Interactivity of type and image.
- Sequential design: visual links between main page and inside pages with the respect of the site brand and identity.
5- Interactivity (10%)
- Building interesting valuable experience:
Control, creativity, productivity, communication, adaptation.

Technical Criteria for the Best Arabic Knowledge Content Award
1- Informative and community driven (20%):
The website shall include scientific, educational, and informative content in one or different fields, and shall bridge the “digital divide” by sharing information among the Arab communities.
2- Searchable (20%)
• Search within (5%): User can easily search for information within the website.
• Search External (15%): The website content should be searchable from external websites and search engines relying on indexing methods, automation of information diffusion (RSS)…
3- Reachable and accessible (20%)
• Enriching Open Source Content: the website shall be to a certain extent free to public use and accessible using formats reachable to the public (Text format is valued over images and abstracts)
4- Quality of Information (20%)
• Content Quality: the website shall be rich in local and Arabic content, and help preserve the culture and identity of the region.
• Reliable Information Sources by mentioning the references where knowledge and known authors are valued over opinions.
5- Creativity 10%
